- new single out : October 24th 2008
- new greatest hits: November 12th 2008

- the new single "wheel of fortune" has been released as a digital download and has had great charting succes so
far. It is amazing how well it has done without ANY promotion at all. Thanks to internet blogs this release has become an
underground hit. The official site will put the acapella file online so people can make their own remixes of it.
- the new greatest hits package: 1 CD of their biggest hits, 1 CD of classic remixes + 2 new remixes (wheel of fortune
2009 + don't turn around 2009) and 1 DVD of all their videos: this includes the Lucky Love US video (1996), Unspeakable video
(2003) and Travel to Romantis video (1998) which have been put on DVD format for the very first time.
- the new album: Ace of Base are currently in process of recording the new album. According to Ulf, 60% has been
finalized. Go to www.youtube.com/aceofbase to visit their channel and see some videos of Ulf and Jonas in the recording studio. Ulf has been to New York to get in touch
with new record labels so that the new CD can hopefully become a worldwide release (which would be the first time since the
release of Flowers/ Cruel Summer in 1998).

Ace of Base: from 4 to 3
After years of having a low profile in the band, Linn Bergrren has decided to quit Ace of Base.
From 1998 onwards, she has rarely done any promotion and did not even mime in the videoclips anymore. Even though she
still had lead vocals in some of the singles, it was her sister Jenny who took over those parts and Linn was - if she was
there - put at the back of the stage playing keyboards. On photoshoots she was mostly blurred out or not present at all.
The official statement is that she wants to "spend more time with her family and focus on her education" as she is
back in university.
